SMS Consent & Opt-In
Snoox is a personal reminder service from T-Invent, LLC. This page explains exactly how someone chooses to receive Snoox reminder text messages, the messages we send, and how to opt out at any time.
You opt in yourself
Snoox reminders are set up by a sender — an individual who holds a Snoox account and schedules recurring reminders for someone they personally know (a family member or friend). No one is ever added to a messaging list automatically, and Snoox does not use purchased, rented, or bulk phone lists. Snoox never sends a message to anyone who has not first opted in themselves.
- A sender personally invites someone they know. The invitation is an ordinary text the sender sends from their own phone — not from Snoox — containing a unique join code and a link.
- The recipient opts in themselves, in one of two ways:
- Text JOIN <code> to the Snoox number; or
- Open snoox.app/join/<code>, enter their own mobile number, and check a box agreeing to receive recurring reminder texts (see the form below).
- Only after the recipient opts in does Snoox send anything — starting with a confirmation. If they never opt in, no message is ever sent.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages.
What the web opt-in looks like
Every invitation carries a unique, per-recipient join code, so the opt-in page has no public URL — each recipient reaches their own link from the sender's invitation text. This is the actual form; the recipient enters their own mobile number and must actively check the consent box (unchecked by default) before it can be submitted:
Submitting this form — or texting JOIN <code> to the Snoox number — is the recipient's own affirmative opt-in. Nothing is ever pre-checked, and no one else can opt in on the recipient's behalf.
What recipients receive
The first message Snoox sends is a confirmation, and it goes out only after the recipient has opted in (by texting JOIN or submitting the web form):
From then on, the recipient receives the reminders the sender scheduled — each showing the sender's name — until they opt out. For example:

Stopping messages
- Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
